Lets start with the unconventional stream of photography.Nothing is wrong if you are not going with the standard courses of engineering , medicine ...blah , blah. At the end of day the only thing which really matters , is what you want.This post is dedicated to photo enthusiasts.

Photography stream further have following branches :-

1. Wedding Photography -
  Why - If you love Indian culture , marriages and money prospect drives your decision , go for wedding photography.
  Positives -
 Good ROI (Return On Investment) - Good money once you are established.Big firms are charging 3-4 lakhs per marriage.

Consistency -  Marriage is one thing which never ever going to stop in future :) So you will be in business always.

Comparatively less competition - Even though there are so many photographers out there in market to shoot wedding , number of marriages happening at a time are also big.If you come up with some unique idea , you can be a big hit.
 Negatives -
Travelling - In order to shoot marriages you might have to travel to other towns and cities , which could be a hassle if don't like to stay away from family.
 
2. Nature/Wildlife Photography -
Why - If you love travelling worldwide , want to experience nature , then this is for you.
Positives -
 World Experience - You will get to travel around the globe and will get the chance of getting more close to nature. In true sense can fulfil of your dream of being closer to nature.

Environment Awareness - If you want to protect nature and this world , this is a great way to show people what exactly happening around the world through your photograph's.
Negatives -
Away from family - As you will be travelling a lot , you will be away from your family most of the time.

Need lots of patience - For example you are in middle of forest , waiting for a loin to show up, loin can take 2- 3 days or even don't show up at all. Wild life photography needs lot of patience

Extreme weather - You might have to go to Arctic which is sub zero degree temperature or you might have to go to Sahara desert which is blazing hot. You have to be prepared for all kinds of weather conditions.

3. Fashion Photography -
Why - If you love glamour ,fashion ,love being part of the celebrity world and want to become one of them , go for this.
Positives -
Celebrity Perks - Where fashion comes , there comes the celebrities. You could be part of their world and can see your pictures getting published as a celebrity too.

Money - Once you are established , there is no end of money.
Negatives -

Difficult to establish - To get a shoot of big celebrity , you have to be really lucky. Competition is fierce in this field.

4. Photo journalism -
Why - If you want to bring awareness in society through your photograph's , then is for you.
Positives -
 Inner Peace - By creating wave and change in society for better through your photograph's , you can find inner peace.

Negatives-
Need lot of guts - Bringing any change in society , is not easy , you will need lot of guts.

Money - It really depends , but this is comparatively less paid field as compared to other photography fields.

 Above were the pros and cons of all the photography fields. Do you like to cook or do you like to design clothes or do you have interest in medicines or do you like to build web sites or do you like any particular sports or anything , literally anything which you really enjoys most and forget the track of time while doing it.

The reason I am stressing on likeliness because if you are not an avid follower of any particular field , you will end up being a mediocre.So , first you need to put stress on your heart and mind and ask this question to yourself "What I want to do ? What I want to be?"

Education in India is improving every year but the pressure on kids is also increasing tremendously.

I have gone through same kind of pressure in my days.But there is one major difference I can see now and in past is that we had only couple of choices to choose from but for todays kid there are myriad of choices to select from.This is positive if kid knows what exactly to go for , but far more difficult if have no idea which stream to select.

I am starting this blog to help all the kids out there to go for right choice.There is nothing wrong in being creative , not necessarily has to go for standard courses.But you should know thoroughly what you are going for , so that there is no room to feel sorry in future !!!
